City police busts online loan app racket
Thiruvananthapuram City police have dismantled an online loan app fraud racket operating from a call center in Sreekaryam. Approximately 20 individuals were arrested, and 50 computers were seized during the raid, which was initially prompted by an anti-drug operation.

The Thiruvananthapuram City police busted an online loan app fraud operating from the city on Monday. Nearly 20 people, including those from other States, have been apprehended from a location in Sreekaryam, where the racket is suspected to have operated a call centre from, official sources said.
The suspects were taken into custody during a raid undertaken by the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) under the anti-drug enforcement drive Operation Toofan. Around 50 computers were also reportedly seized from the premises.
