Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber cremated, ashes will be kept at parent's home

Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, was cremated days after his shocking death at a sober-living home in Los Angeles, according to reports. He was 27.

His parents will keep the ashes at their home in Malibu, TMZ reported, citing the death certificate. Before the cremation at Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley, California, an autopsy was completed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, though a ruling on his cause of death has been deferred.

In a statement earlier this week, the medical examiner said “additional testing and/or studies were requested in order to make a determination,” adding it could still be months before the cause is officially confirmed. The Santa Monica Police Department has since said it is investigating the incident as a “suspected overdose.”
