Chittoor police launch 'Operation Flush-out' against drugs

Chittoor district police on Sunday launched a massive cordon and search operation across 16 locations under the “Dharya Sparsa – Operation Flush Out” initiative to crack down on drug trafficking and illegal liquor.
Speaking to the media, Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi said the drive was led by police teams led by SP (Operations) S.R. Rajashekar Raju. The houses of rowdy-sheeters, persons previously arrested in ganja cases and other suspects across the district were checked.
Using advanced drug detection kits, police conducted screening tests on 50 persons, none of them tested positive. During the operation, 15 vehicles were seized in YSR Nagar locality of Palamaner town, and two vehicles in Chittoor rural limits for lack of proper documents.
