Appreciating the efforts of Chinmaya Mission in preserving the country’s spiritual heritage through meaningful publications, High Court Judge Justice G.R. Swaminathan wanted such institutions to encourage readers to study the timeless wisdom of Adi Sankaracharya.
Speaking at a book release function organised at the Chinmaya Mission, the Judge said that dissemination of knowledge on the culture and tradition of the country to the youngsters was essential.
Through the Mission and its volunteers, the message must reach the masses, he added.
The Chinmaya Mission organised the release of Prashnottara Ratnamalika, an English rendering and commentary on the timeless work of Jagadguru Sri Adi Sankaracharya, authored by Swami Sivayogananda on Saturday.
Industrialist Jayapradeep in his address highlighted the relevance in presenting the profound teachings of Advaita Vedanta in a simple question-and-answer format for young readers.
