Chinese brands push smartphone batteries beyond 10,000mAh
Chinese smartphone manufacturers, including OPPO, Vivo, and Redmi, are shifting their focus toward integrating 10,000mAh batteries into their devices. This trend aims to address consumer demand for longer battery life, supported by advancements in fast-charging technology.

The race toward ultra-large batteries is unlikely to stop with Realme. OPPO is rumored to be developing an F-series smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery. Realme itself could also expand its Number Series with another phone offering a similar battery capacity.
Vivo is reportedly preparing the Vivo V80 Lite 5G with a 10,000mAh battery. If the information proves accurate, Vivo would become another major brand bringing exceptionally large batteries to mainstream and upper-mid-range smartphones.
Redmi, meanwhile, is rumored to be equipping the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max with a battery of similar capacity. POCO could also join the race with the POCO X8 Power, potentially turning 10,000mAh batteries into a major competitive battleground among Chinese smartphone brands.
