China is seeing a gradual rise in COVID-19 infections, according to the latest data released by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC).
During the week of July 13 to July 19, the COVID-19 test positivity rate continued to trend upward, reaching a moderate level of transmission nationwide. Southern provinces reported higher positivity rates than northern regions, while people aged 15 to 59 recorded the highest positivity rate among all age groups. Other monitored respiratory viruses remained at low levels.
