Chief Minister to distribute pattadar passbooks, address 22-A land issue in Konaseema on September 9
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to visit the Konaseema district to distribute land ownership documents and address long-standing issues regarding the 22-A land restriction list. The government aims to reclassify certain residential lands to resolve transaction barriers for thousands of families.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Wednesday to participate in the ‘Mee Bhoomi–Mee Hakku’ programme, distribute pattadar passbooks and interact with farmers on land and revenue-related issues.
Mr. Naidu will participate in a Gram Sabha at Panduvaaripeta village in the P. Gannavaram Assembly constituency, where he will explain the government’s initiatives to protect land rights, resolve re-survey issues and strengthen land records.
A key proposal before the government is to remove residential ground rent lands in parts of the district from the prohibited properties list under Section 22-A(1)(b) of the Registration Act. The lands have continued to face restrictions on transactions because of their old revenue classification, despite having been used for residential purposes for decades.
