Chief Minister C. Joesph Vijay inaugurated a few public health units, urban health centres and health sub-centres in the district through videoconference on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the public health unit at Aarudesam (₹50 lakh) and Rajakkalmangalam (₹65 lakh), health sub-centres at Puththenthurai (₹50 lakh) and Rajavoor (₹45 lakh) and urban primary health centre at Unnamalaikadai (₹1.50 crore).
Minister for Tourism S. Rajesh Kumar, District Collector M. Prathap, District Health Officer Namasivayam and others were present.
