Chief Engineer inspects Mullaperiyar dam
A team of officials led by Chief Engineer S. Sivakumar conducted a routine inspection of the Mullaperiyar dam. The team reviewed the structural integrity of the main dam, baby dam, and spillways, as well as the site's seismography equipment.

Chief Engineer - Madurai Region, Water Resources Organisation, Public Works Department, S. Sivakumar and a team of officials from the department inspected the Mullaperiyar dam on Thursday.
The team of officials inspected the main dam, the baby dam, the gallery area and the spillways. They also inspected the seismography equipment installed on the dam site. Later, they inspected Vallakkadavu road and head sluice at Thekkady.
