Chief anti-HIV campaigner sees clear path to vaccine, and Kenya’s role in it
Dr. Mark Feinberg, CEO of the International Aids Vaccine Initiative, recently visited Kenya to discuss deepening partnerships in vaccine research and manufacturing. The collaboration aims to leverage Kenya's growing scientific capacity to accelerate the development of an effective HIV vaccine.

For more than 40 years, Dr Mark Feinberg has chased one of medicine's toughest goals: a vaccine against HIV. As president and CEO of the International Aids Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), a global non-profit that develops vaccines for diseases that hit poor countries hardest, he has spent his career pushing that dream closer to reality.
