Cheruiyot said the two parties would hold structured negotiations to determine their political cooperation, dismissing suggestions that ODM had lost direction following the death of its founding leader Raila Odinga.
He said ODM remained a national political party with a clear identity, history and political ambitions, which UDA recognised and was prepared to respect.
“Just because you are lost does not mean ODM is lost. ODM knows where it is, it knows where it has come from and it knows where it is going,” Cheruiyot said.
