Chelsea vs. Tottenham Hotspur: game time, open thread, and how to watch friendly online
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are set to play a preseason friendly match at the Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia. The article provides logistical details for fans and outlines community guidelines for the match thread.
Why it matters
Preseason friendlies between major clubs are significant commercial events that engage global fanbases and test team readiness.
Tottenham Hotspur conclude their trip down under with a match against London rivals Chelsea . They are expected to contest the Sydney Super Cup (it's no Audi Cup, innit) in front of an almost sell-out crowd of approximately 80,000.
Chelsea are always a side Spurs love to beat; and it's odd taking on a rival in a preseason encounter. Will Roberto De Zerbi and Xabi Alonso go full throttle? Or will they take a circumspect approach to the match, rivalries be damned? Regardless, I'm looking forward to it!
Here's your open thread to jump in and chat.
