Chelsea vs. Tottenham Hotspur: game time, live blog, and how to watch online
Tottenham Hotspur faces a challenging away match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a venue where they have historically struggled. Despite recent momentum, Spurs are dealing with significant injury concerns heading into the fixture.
Why it matters
This match is a high-profile Premier League fixture that tests Tottenham's ability to overcome historical poor performance at a rival's home ground.
A glimmer of hope has appeared for Tottenham Hotspur. Some encouraging performances of late have built momentum, culminating in Spurs' first win of the season following six agonizing winless fixtures.
And now we get to ruin all that by paying a visit to Spurs' proverbial graveyard in the form of Stamford Bridge, as Spurs take on Chelsea.
Away matches at Chelsea are never a fun affair, with Spurs having only won once there in 34 attempts. This Chelsea side though are vulnerable, though the relative table positions would say otherwise. They are massively overperforming their underlying numbers, whereas Spurs have struggled to turn possession into clearcut opportunities (or finish them once created). There is a possibility, however slim, that the universe aligns for Spurs on this one.
