Cheepurupalli MLA predicts TDP’s continued success in local body polls

Cheepurupalli MLA Kala Venkata Rao on Thursday said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will continue its winning streak in the constituency during local body elections with the effective implementation of welfare schemes and developmental activities in the district.

He held a review meeting with the party leaders of all four mandals – Cheepurupalli, Garividi, Gurla and Merakamudidam – which are part of the constituency, ahead of local body elections.

“The party [TDP] has defeated YSRCP in the 2024 Assembly election in Cheepurupalli constituency and the winning streak would continue in parishad elections also. The leaders and cadre should highlight the perfect implementation of Super Six schemes and others which benefited the people even before the election notification,” he told the party leaders in the review meeting.
