ChatGPT Pro 500
OpenAI has introduced a new $500/month 'Pro 500' subscription tier for ChatGPT, while simultaneously adjusting usage allowances for existing Pro 200 subscribers. The update includes grandfathering provisions for current users until October 2026, after which usage limits will be standardized.

ChatGPT Pro now offers Pro 500, a new $500/month plan that includes Astra Ultrafast. Pro 200 is also available for new subscriptions again. New subscriptions that aren’t eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance.
ChatGPT Pro includes Pro models, Codex, deep research, image creation, memory and file uploads.
Pro 200 includes more usage than Pro 100. Pro 500 offers the highest included usage of the three plans.

Yes. New Pro 200 subscriptions are available from the pricing page. New subscriptions that aren’t eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance than previously offered with Pro 200 to reflect our increasingly efficient models. The monthly price remains $200.
