OpenAI has added a virtual try-on feature to ChatGPT. Users can upload a selfie to see how clothes and accessories might look on them, and the feature adds to the chatbot's shopping tools.
The company announced the feature on October 1. It is available in ChatGPT on mobile and web.
A "Try on" button now appears on product listings for clothes and accessories in ChatGPT. When users select it, they can take or upload a selfie, and ChatGPT generates a try-on image of them wearing the item.
The images are created with ChatGPT Images 2.5, the image model it released in September.
