The leaders of Israel’s “change bloc” signed a joint declaration pledging to stop attacking one another and their parties until the next government is formed, as part of a coordinated effort to replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
Yair Lapid, Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Liberman, Yair Golan and Gadi Eisenkot signed the document at Lapid’s Tel Aviv home on Saturday night, a month before the election.
“From today until the formation of the government, none of us or anyone acting on our behalf will attack a fellow party in the bloc or its leader,” the document stated.
