Champions of Chennai awards presented

The KSA Trust presented the 13th 'Champions of Chennai' awards to seven individuals and organizations for their contributions across various sectors. The awards aim to highlight role models who have driven meaningful social change in the city.

At the 13th edition of the “Champions of Chennai” awards presented by the non profit organisation, KSA trust, in the city on Monday, seven individuals and organisations were recognised for their contributions to art & culture, education, enterprise, healthcare, science, social initiative, and sports. The awards were given by chief guest Irai Anbu, former Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary.
Humour Club International (Triplicane Chapter) received the award for Art & culture for promoting entertainment through clean humour. The Education award went to Ravi Kasi Venkatraman, headmaster of Maraimalai Adigal Government Higher Secondary School, Pallavaram. Murray & Co Auction House received the Enterprise award, while Platelet Patrons Charitable Trust (Platelet Club), a voluntary blood donation organisation, was honoured in the Healthcare category.
