Chamber seeks daily train between Puducherry and Velankanni

The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nagapattinam, has urged the railway administration to introduce a daily train service between Puducherry and Velankanni via Karaikal. It has sought extension of the Villupuram-Mayiladuthurai passenger up to Velankanni via Karaikal. A few representatives of the chamber met Balak Ram Negi, Divisional Railway Manager, Tiruchi, at Nagapattinam railway station on Friday and submitted to him a memorandum containing the above mentioned demand and a few others.
