The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the provisional results of the third round of seat allotment for engineering and other courses on Friday (September 4).
For the convenience of candidates who have newly been allotted seats in the third round, the authority has, for the first time, introduced a Choice-4 option. Such candidates can select Choice-4 by 5 p.m. on Saturday (September 5) and exit the counselling process, said H. Prasanna, Executive Director of KEA.
However, candidates who were allotted seats in the second round, took admission in the college, and participated in the third round only for upgradation must mandatorily continue with their college admission. They will not be given the Choice-4 option. Such candidates must therefore wait for the final results.
