Ceramic Wishes: A Tanabata Pottery Experience Comes to MITSUKOSHI BGC This August 30

Ceramic Wishes: A Tanabata Pottery Experience will take place on August 30, 2026 , at 2/F MITSUKOSHI BGC, beside % Arabica , as part of MITSUKOSHI BGC’s 3rd Anniversary celebration and the 70th Anniversary of Japan–Philippines Friendship .
Inspired by Japan’s Tanabata or Star Festival, the event invites participants of all ages to create their own ceramic keepsakes while celebrating creativity and the enduring friendship between Japan and the Philippines.

Participants can choose from two newly introduced workshops. The Glass Decal Art Workshop allows guests to personalize a ceramic piece using colorful decals inspired by Tanabata wishes, stars, lanterns, and Japanese and Filipino symbols.
Meanwhile, the Pottery Crayons Workshop lets participants decorate pottery using special ceramic crayons with playful Japanese and Filipino-inspired designs.
