Centre Notifies Appointments Of Chief Justices At Eight High Courts
The Indian Central Government has officially notified the appointment of Chief Justices for eight High Courts across the country. These appointments follow recommendations made by the Supreme Court collegium in August.

The Central Government on Saturday (September 5) notified appointments of Chief Justices at eight High Courts. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal took to X (formerly Twitter) to notify the appointments: "In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, in consultation with the Chief Justice of India, the President is pleased to appoint the following High Court Judges as Chief Justices of the High Courts..."The eight appointees are:1. Delhi High Court judge Justice V. Kameswar Rao is appointed as Chief Justice of Patna High Court 2. Bombay High Court judge Justice Ravindra V Ghuge is appointed as Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court3. Chhattisgarh High Court judge Justice Sanjay Kumar Agrawal is appointed as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High COurt4.
