A Central team on Thursday held a meeting with senior police officers and officials from various departments to review the preparedness for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Puducherry on Saturday.
According to an official, the meeting was held at the Puducherry Airport to review the preparedness of various departments assigned to handle the visit of Mr. Shah to the city for participating in the presentation ceremony of the President of India’s Police Colour to the Puducherry Police. The ceremony will be held at the Police Training School ground on Sunday morning.
