NEW DELHI: A 55-year-old musician from Manipur was beaten to death allegedly by a group of dhaba workers in southeast Delhi’s Kilokari Village after he went downstairs late on Sunday night to object to the loud noise outside his home.CCTV footage from the spot captures the aftermath of the assault, showing an injured Chongtham Vikram Singh being carried down the staircase on someone’s shoulder, while the alleged attackers are seen emerging from the stairs.Singh, who lived near Ashram, had reportedly been frustrated by the shouting and commotion caused by workers and delivery personnel of the dhaba located opposite his home.He went downstairs to ask them to lower the noise, but the argument escalated.According to police, while Singh was coming down the stairs to speak to the group, several men allegedly rushed towards him and attacked him in the alleyway.
