CCPO orders closer watch on pickpockets, fraudsters at traffic signals

LAHORE - Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana directed police to keep a close watch on the activities of beggars and fraudsters at major roads and traffic signals and take indiscriminate legal action against those involved in committing crimes through fraud at traffic signals. He was speaking while chairing an important meeting at the Capital City Police Headquarters to review progress on measures aimed at preventing theft in the city. The meeting reviewed the progress made in curbing theft and discussed the preparation of comprehensive records of target offenders involved in theft and pickpocketing, along with measures to ensure their effective monitoring.
