CCB nabs two absconding accused in separate cases

The Central Crime Branch nabbed two accused in separate cases during a special drive against rowdy sheeters at J.J. Nagar in West Bengaluru on Thursday.
Jitendra Ratan, who was involved in a 2019 murder case registered at the Avalahalli Police Station, was nabbed and handed over to the Avalahalli police. He was booked under Sections 201 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code, the police said.
Similarly, Mohsin Pasha, 40, who was absconding in a rioting and assault case registered at the J.J. Nagar Police Station in 2010, was also traced and handed over to the jurisdictional police.
The CCB sleuths interrogated 72 rowdy sheeters, 65 modus operandi offenders, 23 drug peddlers and consumers, four accused against whom warrants or proclamations had been issued, and inspected 72 crime-prone locations and 29 other places.
