The High Court in Entebbe has sentenced Rev. Father Dominic Alinga to 21 years for murdering former Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) staff, John Bosco Ngorok and attempting to murder one Moses Abigaba.
The former priest at Iriiri Catholic Parish in Napak District was sentenced by Justice Flavia Nabakooza.
The offences arose from an incident on August 2, 2024, when Rev. Father Alinga, suspecting that John Bosco Ngorok had exposed his secrets leading to his suspension, lured him into a meeting.
While travelling together towards Entebbe, Rev. Father Alinga attacked and stabbed Ngorok.
