The police on Sunday (August 9, 2026) night booked nine youths on charges of creating a public nuisance and performing risky stunts on motorbikes during a birthday celebration on a public road at Indukuru village in Mudigubba mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district.
Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar said the youths gathered in a public place to celebrate their friend’s birthday with cake-cutting. Later, they started performing dangerous bike stunts, causing inconvenience to residents and other commuters.
The Mudigubba circle police detained the youths for questioning. A case was registered against all nine. The SP said stringent action would be taken against repeat offences.
The case is the second in the district in a week. The police had arrested three youths for performing dangerous bike stunts on the Puttaparthi bypass road on Wednesday (August 5, 2026).
