CAs need to upgrade skills constantly: ICAI president

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) inaugurated a new office in Vizianagaram to support professional development. The president emphasized the need for continuous upskilling to keep pace with regulatory changes and economic growth.

The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI) national president D. Prasanna Kumar on Monday inaugurated the new office in Vizianagaram district to enable chartered accounts to have constant interaction with experts with regard to changes in rules and regulations, new Acts, technological advancements and others.
He said that the new office located in Ring Road of Vizianagaram would enable 450 CAs and students to upskill and ensure the best service for their clients. Vizianagaram branch’s Managing Committee chairman E.R. Somayajulu, general secretary P.S.C. Nageswara Rao, Treasurer M. Rama Rao felicitated Mr. Kumar who is originally from Visakhapatnam.
