International jewellery and fashion house Cartier has opened its first boutique in New Zealand, adding to the nation’s growing luxury market.
Known for its craftsmanship, Cartier specialises in products including jewellery, watchmaking, fragrances, leather goods and accessories.
The boutique’s opening, first signalled in the tail end of the Covid era, marks Kiwis’ first opportunity to interact with the brand directly, as it was previously only possible through resellers such as Partridge’s.
Cartier Oceania managing director Thomas Crye said the opening marked an exciting chapter for the brand in the region.
“We are proud to establish a permanent Maison presence in Auckland, creating a destination where our clients can discover the entire Cartier universe, inspired by the extraordinary creativity, craftsmanship and beauty of New Zealand.
