Carlos Espi reveals his delight after decisive Real Madrid goal against Elche

Carlos Espi was clearly the most low-profile of the six signings that Real Madrid made for their first team during the last summer transfer window. Other signings like Marc Cucurella , Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries , Bernardo Silva , and Yan Diomande had all already proven themselves at the highest level, while the Spanish forward was not that well known despite his good last season with Levante.

However, in this early stage of the season, the Spaniard is proving to be the most decisive of these new signings, even though he is not getting as many minutes as they are. He was quick to prove his worth for his new team, as he scored the winning goal in the very last moments of the first official game of the season, against Espanyol .
