JERUSALEM | Xinhua | A group of Israeli, Chinese and German researchers found early clues that help explain why some cancer patients respond to immunotherapy while others do not, the Israel Institute of Technology said in a statement Wednesday.
In their study, published in the journal Cancer Cell, the researchers found that what happens inside a tumor shortly after treatment begins helps determine whether the treatment will work.
