The BJP has described the State government’s decision to cancel the allotment of 1,100 sites made by the Mysuru Development Authority (MDA) under the controversial 50:50 ratio scheme as a “victory” for the party’s sustained campaign against alleged irregularities in the Authority.
“It is a victory for our party’s struggle,” BJP Mysuru City spokesperson M.A. Mohan said, recalling the party’s campaign against the erstwhile Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), which began three years ago.
He also described the surrender of 14 sites allotted to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife, B.M. Parvathi, under the scheme as another “victory” for the BJP’s campaign.
