Campaign to ensure vehicles are not parked along NHs
The National Highways Authority of India has launched a campaign to clear vehicles illegally parked along the Ennore Manali Road and the Chennai-Tada National Highway. Over 350 vehicles were removed, and authorities are now pursuing enforcement actions against violators.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has begun a campaign to ensure vehicles are not parked along Ennore Manali Road Improvement Project (EMRIP) roads and the Chennai - Tada National Highway.
Such vehicles are usually parked along the shoulders and margins of these roads, taking up space meant for moving vehicles, said a press release. A total of 350 trucks, vans, and other vehicles that were encroaching the road were asked to move by patrol vehicles over a period of 45 days.
