Cameron Norrie’s head to head record vs Alexander Zverev over his career so far ahead of their meeting in China

Cameron Norrie has been handed an extremely tough China Open draw.

The British star, once a Wimbledon semi-finalist, has been pitted against world number two Alexander Zverev.

Zverev has arguably been the best player on the ATP Tour this year , winning his first two Grand Slam titles at Roland Garros and the US Open .

The German star is also the top seed in Beijing – a clear favourite to win the title.

Norrie's chances of upsetting Zverev are slim, especially when taking into consideration his past results against the German.

Norrie has faced Alexander Zverev on eight occasions previously.

The Briton has never defeated the German superstar.

Zverev first defeated Norrie at the 2019 Acapulco Open, triumphing 7-6, 6-3 in the semi-finals.

Since then, Zverev has clinched victories against Norrie in Canada, Sydney, Austria, Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA.
