Calib Materoa held Invercargill teen and girl at knifepoint during ‘home invasion’

A teenager and his younger sister were forced into a wardrobe at knifepoint after a drunken man entered their home, attacked the teen and threatened to kill their mother.
During the ordeal, Calib Anthony Toko Materoa pointed a knife at the teen’s eye and said: “I’m going to eat you ... I am part of Black Power.”
Materoa, 27, had gone to the Invercargill address looking for a man he believed owed him money following a dispute over the sale of a vehicle.
But when he found only the man’s 18-year-old brother and 12-year-old sister at home, he turned his anger on them.
Materoa punched the teen in the back of the head, twice in the face, and kicked him.
