Buxar train murder case: Rohit held for kidnapping, ransom and killing

A repeat offender who kidnapped passengers on moving trains, demanded ransom from their families and then threw them off the train has been arrested in Bihar’s Buxar, police said.The accused, identified as Rohit, was arrested in connection with the death of 21-year-old Nitin Kumar, a resident of Vaishali. Police said Rohit kidnapped Nitin while he was travelling home from Hyderabad, demanded Rs 10,000 from his family and later tied his hands and legs before throwing him from the moving train.Nitin was travelling on the Danapur Special on September 19 when he was targeted by the accused.KIDNAPPED ON TRAIN, FAMILY ASKED FOR RANSOMAccording to the complaint filed by Nitin’s family, he was travelling home when he was abducted by unidentified criminals for money.
