Businessman, badminton patron Andrew Kam dies at 64
Prominent Malaysian businessman and badminton patron Andrew Kam has passed away at the age of 64. He was well-regarded for his contributions to the sport, including founding the Kuala Lumpur Racket Club.

PETALING JAYA: Businessman, lawyer and prominent badminton patron Andrew Kam died yesterday at the age of 64.
His death was confirmed by his daughter, Hannah Kam.
Born on Feb 2, 1962, Andrew began his career in law before making his mark as an entrepreneur, with business interests over the years spanning power generation, property development, mining and plantations.
Before turning 30, Andrew established Hypergantic Sdn Bhd to initiate a power generation project which would eventually become what is known as Port Dickson Power in Negeri Sembilan.
He later became known for his involvement in gold mining in Raub, Pahang.
Andrew was also known for his long-standing involvement in Malaysian badminton, driven by his love for the sport.
