Bushenyi crash ends life of S6 student, another road user
A tragic road crash in Uganda's Bushenyi District claimed the lives of 20-year-old senior six student Arnolin Sasiraabo and 22-year-old Brilian Atwongiryeho when a speeding trailer collided with their motorcycle. The motorcycle rider is critically injured, and eyewitnesses attribute the accident to the trailer driver's alleged drunkenness, excessive speed, and a narrow road section known as a black spot.

A senior six student of Kyamuhunga Secondary School in Bushenyi District, identified as Arnolin Sasiraabo, has been killed in a road crash along the Bushhenyi-Ishaka road, which happened on Sunday evening.
The victim, 20, a resident of Ryanyamihondo village, Swazi Parish, Kyamuhunga Sub-county, died alongside 22-year-old Brilian Atwongiryeho after a trailer knocked a motorcycle which they had boarded.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle rider identified as Derrick Kwasa, 23, is admitted to Kampala International University Teaching Hospital in critical condition.
Police said in a statement shared by Bushenyi Regional Police Commander, SSP Martin Okoyo that the crash happened at 6 pm at St Kagwa when the driver of the trailer attempted to overtake the motorcycle, killing both passengers on the spot.
