Uisce Éireann crews are working to repair a burst water main in the Blarney area this lunchtime and restore water supply to hundreds of customers affected by the outage. Irish Water/UE issued the notice today - but residents who contacted CorkBeo said there had been major problems with pressure and supply since last Tuesday, when they say the company was notified of the issues. Customers in Cluain Ard, Blarney and surrounding areas may experience supply disruptions, low pressure, or intermittent outages while repairs are carried out. In the meantime, water tankers are in place at Cluain Ard, Blarney. Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from tankers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
