Budi Madani monthly fuel eligibility raised back to 300 litres from today

KUALA LUMPUR: The basic monthly eligibility limit under Budi Madani has been increased from 200 to 300 litres, effective Tuesday (Sept 1).
The Finance Ministry said the adjustment covers Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) and Budi Madani Diesel (Budi Diesel), with eligible recipients entitled to up to 300 litres monthly.
The subsidised price remains RM1.99 per litre for RON95 and RM2.10 per litre for diesel under the respective schemes.
For owners of private diesel-powered pick-up trucks and jeeps, the monthly entitlement can reach 400 litres, including an additional 100 litres for those who qualify and apply for it.
"No reapplication is required for existing recipients. New applications for the additional 100 litres of BUDI Diesel can be made through the budimadani.gov.my portal,” the ministry said in a statement on its Facebook page.
