BRS MLCs suspended from Council for the sessions
Two BRS MLCs were suspended from the Telangana Legislative Council for the remainder of the session following derogatory remarks made against the Assembly Speaker. The resolution also condemned the members' public behavior, which was deemed disrespectful to the institution.

BRS MLCs Tata Madhu and Naveen Kumar Reddy, arrested by police in the morning, were suspended from the Legislative Council for the remainder of the session over alleged derogatory comments about Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar.
Legislative Affairs Minister D. Sridhar Babu moved a resolution to suspend them, and the House adopted it unanimously. The Chairman of the Legislative Council, Gutha Sukender Reddy, announced the suspension of the two BRS MLCs and adjourned the session. The Council’s action was based on a resolution passed by the Legislative Assembly earlier, and sent to the Council.
Protesting against the suspension, other BRS MLCs raised slogans against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy outside the House.
