BRS ex-MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy passes away

Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, a former BRS MLA and close associate of K. Chandrashekhar Rao, has passed away at age 52 due to a pulmonary embolism. He was a prominent figure in the Telangana statehood movement and served in various political roles since 2001.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Peddi Sudarshan Reddy (52) , former MLA from Narsampet in Warangal district and a close associate of the party founder-president K. Chandrashekhar Rao from 2001, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad early on Friday (July 31, 2026). He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
He suffered pulmonary embolism, a sudden blockage in an artery in the lungs, at his residence in Hanumakonda on July 26 and collapsed. He was rushed to a private hospital there and was revived after a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) was performed by the doctors and was shifted to a corporate hospital here for better treatment.
He was declared dead at 12.51 am on Friday by the team of doctors attending to him. He would be cremated at his native place in the evening.
