BRS blames Congress Govt. for AP diverting huge Krishna water

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has blamed the Congress Government in the State, particularly the two ministers from combined Nalgonda district, for allowing Andhra Pradesh to siphon off water from Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar reservoirs, the joint facilities for the two Telugu States, even when they are yet to become surplus.
Speaking to the media in Nalgonda on Friday, former minister and Suryapet MLA G. Jagadish Reddy said that the Nalgonda ministers were staying mute spectators, though AP was drawing water from two reservoirs every day. The Telangana Government was allowing AP to draw water from Pothireddypadu Head Regulator, despite the condition that it could draw water only after Nagarjunasagar became surplus.
