TPCC spokesperson Sama Ram Mohan Reddy accused the BRS and BJP of indulging in “dirty politics” by misleading students over the State government’s educational reforms, particularly the proposed changes in polytechnic education.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Mr. Ram Mohan Reddy said that the condition of schools and colleges during the previous BRS regime was being highlighted by none other than the children of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao.

“Their own children are saying that schools and colleges in the State are not good. This exposes the condition of the education system during their 10-year rule,” he said, and questioned whether the Opposition wanted its leaders’ children to pursue quality education abroad while the future of students in Telangana was compromised.
