Malay Mail LONDON, Sept 6 — A British-Nigerian influencer died after a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand allegedly triggered a fatal pulmonary embolism, according to a UK coroner's report cited by the New York Post .
Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo, 43, was on holiday in Bangkok with his wife, Daniella Simba Allen, when he underwent the cosmetic procedure on March 5.
Details of his death only came to light yesterday, months after the procedure, with the New York Post reporting that a postmortem later linked the embolism to substances used in the injection.
Ubiribo had reportedly received injections containing hyaluronic acid and the local anaesthetic lidocaine.
Soon afterwards, while he and his wife were having a massage, he began complaining of chest pain and repeatedly lost consciousness, according to the report.
He was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors found he was struggling to respond coherently to questions.
