A Brisbane bus driver, Lindsay Francis Selby, has failed in his appeal to overturn a conviction for careless driving that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Tia Cameron. The court upheld the original magistrate's decision after reviewing evidence and visiting the crash site.

Lindsay Francis Selby, who struck and killed 18-year-old Tia Cameron in the Brisbane CBD more than two years ago, has failed to have his conviction overturned.
Last month the bus driver challenged his conviction in the Brisbane District Court and the appeal was dismissed on Tuesday.
In a written decision, Judge Bernard Porter KC said he was satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt Selby was "not paying sufficient attention to what was unfolding before him".
