England 429-4 (50 overs): Brook 202, Root 69, Jacks 66*
Captain Harry Brook became the first England batter to make a double century in a one-day international with a sensational 202 against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi.
Brook's astonishing hitting took him past the previous England best of 182 made by Ben Stokes against New Zealand at The Oval in 2023.
In reaching 200 from 114 balls, Brook also broke the record for the fastest double century in an ODI, quicker than the 117 deliveries taken by India's Shubman Gill against West Indies last month.
