Visitor entry to the Buddhist heritage site of Thotlakonda will remain temporarily restricted on August 22 from morning until noon to facilitate a scheduled visit by a visiting BRICS delegation, Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) Secretary Murali Krishna stated in a release on Wednesday.
The temporary restriction is part of protocol arrangements for the international delegation’s tour of prominent regional heritage and tourism landmarks managed by VMRDA. Regular public access and tourism activities will resume as usual on Saturday afternoon following the conclusion of the official visit.
