He highlighted Congress' role in enabling LGUs to access climate financing and advancing measures on carbon credits, the blue economy, and the green circular economy, while supporting the 30x30 conservation goal.
Poe noted the Philippines has already established 64 marine protected area networks, surpassing its 2028 commitment, and assured stakeholders that Congress remains committed to climate-responsive legislation through a whole-of-society approach.
